Initial Diagnostic Evaluation

All new patients will be scheduled for a 90 minutes initial diagnostic consultation appointments during the first visit. The length of the initial appointment depends on the complexity of patient’s clinical symptoms. This initial consultation aims to provide a comprehensive assessment to evaluate your psychiatric symptoms as well as the underlying etiology. At the end of the initial consultation appointment, Dr. Wu will provide diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, and relevant referral resources. Please note, the initial diagnostic consultation does not constitute an ongoing treatment relationship, if the patient is determined to require higher level of psychiatric care or other specialty treatment that cannot be provided by our clinic.
